The Girl On The Corner

An ode to the asian damsel in distress.

On my way home, just parked my car.
Couldn't help but notice you there, standing all alone.

Green dress, white shoes, look of confusion on your face.
I slowed down as you looked up at me.

"Excuse me" you said quietly.
"Anything for you" I thought to myself.

Your phone wasn't working, you needed to call your sister.

Good samaritan am I, I had you my phone.

You dial, you talk in a soft, sweet sounding language.
You smile at me, a look of apology in those almond eyes.

I smile, thinking I'd wait an eternity for you.

You hand me my phone, smile, the sweetest smile.

You thank me.  I say it was nothing, that you can use my phone any time.

You lean in.

You hug me.

I feel your body against mine.

Electricity shoots down my spine.

My knees buckle.

You look up at me.  Your hands behind me, pulling me close.

The world tilts, my vision swirls.

I can feel your well toned curved body against mine.

The feeling from you made me high, like I'd just smoked some crack.
Now that you're gone, I want my wallet back.

Someone call for some SPAM by any chance? Just had to ask, as that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the article, unless one thinks getting their wallet stolen is "beautiful".

Meh...
